Nice Cobb!

I just upgraded my Shag Hindu T206 from a PSA 1(MK) to an SGC 20. Not a huge upgrade but this one has much less paper loss on the back. Yay!

Very cool, you don't see too many cards of Rabbit out there.....he actually was born [and died] not too far from me, less than an hour away.

Congrats on the pickup! I took a look at your site and it is very clean. I look forward to stopping by in the future and checking on your progress.

I have just started working on "The Monster" as well. I have less than 20 cards but think the beauty of each one is amazing. If you care less about condition the set is not that difficult to complete. It will just take time and money. And I've got time :)

Happy Collecting!

Some very nice pickups posted in this thread recently. I'm loving the t206s as I've been doing a ton of reading on the set recently. The Monster will have me for a bit, but there's no way I want to go after the set. However, after my recent t202 tinker/ evers / chance purchase, I've been wanting to pick up the trio in t 206 portrait and batting stances. If only I had unlimited disposable income.

WoundedDuck,

Depending on the condition you want patience and the ability to type quick could land you all three relatively cheaply.

I joined Net54 a few months back and just missed out on a Chance Portrait SCG10 at $40 and it looked great. I did, however, manage to snag a Tinker portrait (p-f) for $30CV in a trade last week on there.

Wow those would have been exactly what I'm lookin for. Low grades with reasonable prices but still nice eye appeal

Yeah patience is key. The Tinker I got has SS handwritten in pen at the top and the bottom has some serious wear but the card still presents well. I kind of like them well loved. It kind of tells part of the story.

Finally after 2 years and 7 months this card has eluded me. The search is over I won it tonight! I am way too excited about this to wait and have it in hand before posting it on here. Here it is my final card for my Boston Rustlers subset in the gold border T205 set. This card is on of the toughest common cards to pick up. I haven't seen one in this grade for over 2 years. I got it DLVD for $81.50 (not bad for a PSA 5) Please enjoy!

that's an amazing Cobb! Good luck chasing that monster - we're all looking forward to seeing your progress.

You other T206 guys, if you happen to run across a Dahlen w/ Brooklyn uni in P/F/G condition, I'd appreciate a heads up. I'm not crazy enough to tackle the monster (I say that with absolutely no disrespect), but my personal quest to complete the Brooklyn team set is down to just the Dahlen.

Thanks for the comments on the card and site. Condition is definitely not a priority for me (although I couldn't pass up the Cobb.) If we put our time and money together, we'll have lots of time. ;) :)

Thanks! Staring at your sig didn't help to keep the Monster at bay. :) One of my favorites on FCB.
