Picked up my 20'th card for the 51' Bowman set yesterday at the LCS. It's a Hi-Number PSA 7. Got it for $35 so I'm pretty happy!

You can see the full progress of the set in my sig below. 8-)

That's an EX 5? With all the white on the edges? And really bad lower right corner, along with two other bad corners? :?

Went to the local Flea Market, first time in nearly 5 years. The old baseball card stand was gone but 3 more were up. First one, the guy didn't say a word to me in the near 15 minutes I was in browsing, which I thought was weird. He had two T-206's, not sure if they are legit though. I've recently fallen in love with any and all vintage cards, and after reading some threads about fakes, I'm still unsure if I can tell legit cards from the fake ones. I believe these T-206's are real, just need some help.

Bill Clymer. It was graded as a VG 3, guy wanted $55.

Tris Speaker. Again, a VG 3, this time it was $500.

After that, I wandered to the other shop where I purchased these. Unfortunately they are chopped up, but are now my two oldest baseball cards I own.

1935 Goudey's:

I paid $5 altogether. Included in the package was a 1991 Score Drazen Petrovic 8-)

The guy that sold me the '35 Goudey's was super nice and friendly. Told me he had more vintage, very exciting haha

Yes and a very nice one. The gold borders are impossible and the grading companies realize that. Excellent centering on this one as well.

So many of these cards have great backgrounds, like the one on Griffith.
Congrats!

I didn't count this Neal Ball on my Yankee T206 needs, as it was already ordered. ($60)

Simon Nicholls (Hands on Knees) is absolutely amazing in person. It looks like a color photograph.

Great mail day Jay, I had my eye on that Devlin and you beat me to it.

Thanks! Sorry about the Delvin. That lot was going fast. I've never typed so fast in my life.
