Vintage Red Sox, Team Break cards [AIC], and a big shoutout!

I'll start it off with my Team Break cards. It was my first Team Break and it was very fun! I got the Angels and I was very content with what I got.

I ended up getting over 80 Angels cards, the Carew #/100 and the Kotchman #/50. The first and last hits of the case break were those two, pretty cool huh? I got quite a few Ryan inserts and a TON of nice looking base, and a Garrett Anderson parallel #/100, etc. Nice stuff! Thanks a ton to Andrew for putting the whole thing together and for packaging the cards very well, I was NOT expecting the hits to be in screwdowns! A very nice surprise. Thanks!




Next up is a very unexpected package from Chris [hitforthecycle]. Alls I have to say is WOW!

Chris sent me over 25 Red Sox/retired/HOF cards!!! Red Sox UD Heroes base, UD Masterpieces base, UD Goudey base! The Spectrum base look REALLY nice in person!! I'm lovin the A&G minis, very cool....and the Paps is an A&G back!! The Youk looks sick in person [and is my first X!] and the JVE...WOW! Blue refs look fantastic in person! [My first BC blue ref]....last but not least, a Varitek A&G GU!!! :shock:

Wow this this package is incredible and are all awesome additions to my collection.....thanks a ton buddy!!!! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:




And last but not least....I got this one in this week:

Very nice looking Polar Bear back, it's a very nice 2! And my project is near complete....and I am working on a pic that will show what I am up to. [Will post in a little bit]

My project is as follows....Create a 9 man Red Sox team made up of only Red Sox vintage cards from the 1910's [players MUST be in a Red Sox uniform].

Catcher - Bill Carrigan [incomming]
First Base - Jake Stahl
Second Base - Amby McConnell
Short Stop - Heinie Wagner
Third Base - Harry Lord
Left Field - Duffy Lewis
Center Field - Tris Speaker [NEED!]
Right Field - Harry Hooper
Pitcher - Charley Hall

Not too shabby huh? It will look a lot better once I have all of the cards in and they are all graded.
