Totally agree, I've said that before as well. Great year of cards, ushered in the modern age of collecting.

This is one of my favorite sets of all time. 2001 UD Legends of NY, one of the sets that got me back in to collecting. The autos are nice, but the base cards are even better IMO.

What an underrated set.

Great unique design that had some GREAT names like Mathewson in the GU lineup.
