Bah, who cares who is selling it.. It's slabbed.

Someone else is going to buy it and sell it to you later for more money.

But the next time it hits the market (and it probably will) it won't be coming from a trimmer and you'll have no idea so you may as well save a little money and get it from him.

And not ALL of his cards are trimmed.

not worth the risk. take down the psa serial and keep an eye out for it later.

There's the smart thing to do. Don't support the trimmers by buying from them.

sometimes you have to side with reason and pass on temptation( odd that this is being said about a baseball card ;) ).
it's not so much just the serial number itself, but the autograph. i've stored the image in my collection with a screen shot of the auction and a note that it was in shoeless-joe's hands. oh well.

Even if the card is 100% legit, why give the guy any business? Op is correct, just move on and find a different copy of the card down the road.
