If you guys haven't heard of Tobias Harris yet, you will by this time next year. He is ranked 5th on ESPN's list of high school seniors and plays for a high school on Long Island. The competition isn't that great, but they beat Christ the King a couple of weeks ago which is one of the top NYC basketball teams. He's going to play for Tennessee next year. Checked out his team's playoff game Sunday night, it was crazy. His brother Tyler is also going to be playing D1 but not for a couple of years. Their PG is by far the most exciting player though. His name is Tavon Sledge. He is 5'9 and had 4 dunks in the game. I've never seen someone so fast on a basketball court. He's a junior who is getting recruited by a few schools in the Big East. Tonight is their county championship and I will be attending again since the games are only 10 minutes from my house and it costs a whole 6 bucks to get in. :D Pretty cool to see all these guys together in person who could possibly be facing off against each other on ESPN in the next few years.

The kid can play. I was hoping he'd be at UK next year.

Haven't seen Harris play, but I did say Sledge play a few times at St. Benedict's. You are right that he is insanely quick. When he was with Benedicts, he played alongside Myck Kabongo (2011 going to Texas) who was said to be one of the quickest PGs on the east coast, but Sledge blew him away IMO.
BTW, JayVaughn Pinkston is worth checking out if your into NYC Hoops. Only 6'6 PF, but is an absolute animal on the boards. Coming here to Nova next year.
