I vaguely remember the story when I was little growing up outside the city but man what a sad ending to what looked like a bright future

Anyone else remember this kid or is watching this?

I was only 12 when this happened so I don't remember it all, probably 'cuz it was not near Philly. I was really shaken and upset about the Len Bias story a coupla years later though.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the documentary. When you see that many big-name folks talk about his game in that way is really impressive. And it also offered a follow-up, which I thought was great.

It's also a shame to see that it looks like the Local Celebrities used his death and especially his public funeral for their own agendas instead of the families...

Jesse Jackson uses anything bad related to Chicago and inner city to his own benefit

Also I used to love going to High School games in Chicago. I remember seeing Kendall Gill playing for Rich East, Nick Anderson, and Marcus Liberty.

Definitely a sad story, but one that deserved to be told. Wilson probably would have been a Hall of Fame guard. Unfortunately, the violence in Chicago really hasn't changed much.

It hasn't changed at all. My dads still up there so I follow the news somewhat close. I think it may in fact gotten worse than it was back then even
