Bruce once again congrats on landing that beauty.

I made several failed attempts at winning a Jason Bay from that set. it's still one of my most wanted cards.

How many Bay cards are there?

Bay's card is numbered to 40 but it has been awhile since any have been listed.

Yeah I have only seen one Ortiz in the last 3 years and it went for huge money. I luckily got mine buying out a collection.

They're nice looking cards, a guy going after the set has been after mine. I asked for scans of his other cards and man they've got some nice patch pieces!
I've been saving the scans, here is a link: http://s221.photobucket.com/albums/dd14 ... ing%20BIg/

Nice Griffey! They didn't really put much effort into placing the cert sticker, but it's still nice. Congrats! (that Pedro Luis Lazo in the photobucket is sweet too).

Love showing off this one.

Its the end of the 'S'
It looks like it could be the top center of the "S" too. That's because the top left of your swatch shows jersey instead of the blue patch of the "U". (?)

Sweet cards everyone! What a great set.

And I would have to agree with carlitoson as the bottom stripe on the card piece is more pointed/at an angle, which is not true in the area at the bottom of the S.
I love trying to figure out where a patch came from on a jersey. Fun stuff.

Yeah when I said the end of the 'S', I meant the bottom of it, but I see where he means also. Also not sure if they were different but my scan is of a Home jersey and the patch is from an Away one.

I know the WBC isn't a big hit, especially for Americans, but I like the patch cards that come out of them.

I remember a Griffey went for over $400 when the set came out, and I don't think I've seen another since 2006. Nice find.
