I hope I don't ruin it for you but I give Faber a lot of credit. A broken right hand in the 2nd round and fought the distance. That man has heart I'll give him that. I'd be crying for a doctor if I broke my hand.

Re: WEC - Faber v Brown II

Just finished watching it, and stayed away from this thread until now.

I have to say that Faber did show alot of character going on with that hand. I am a little disappointed that it had to end like that. I would have like to see a full fight, and who would have won had Faber not busted his hand up. We'll never know...until next time.

Still a good lineup tonight.

I enjoyed it overall. And was impressed Faber wasn't finished when he couldn't throw a punch really. He was throwing many right and left elbows.

All the left hand slaps kind of bothered me. Yeah, that's what I want to do with Mike Brown, piss him off when I am hurt, lol.

I was most looking forward to the Swanson fight. And there wasn't much to it. But damn he went all bicycle knees on him. That was awesome to see.

Pulver should just go away. Along with every other Militech fighter.

They are going away. Hughes is done I don't care what he says. His ego won't let him be a middle of the pack fighter and he can't complete with the elite at 170. Tim Silvia is going to try and box because he finally realized how overrated he is and how much he sucks when he can't pin someone against the cage for 25 mins.

I agree. It's not 2002 anymore. They need to evolve. But they are going away. Hughes is done I don't care what he says. Good event last night.
Faber has heart, and Brown is a stud.

Jose Aldo has been tearing up the WEC.

The most likely contenders to Brown's belt are Wagnney Fabiano (my old BJJ coach), Jose Aldo, and Josh Grispi.

Regarding Miletich, its not that they are a bad team, they just arent as dominant as the use to be. Say what you want, but both Ben Rothwell and Sylvia are top 15 at HW, and Hughes is still considered top 5 or 6. I expect that to change in the next year or so, but it is what it is.
