Good evening.

The school board approved the $8,200 for the sports warm up jackets. ::facepalm::

The meeting got so ugly that each side was literally yelling at each other. It was absolutely horrendous and a total nightmare. The president of the board censored everyone and literally walked out at the end as the union was trying to talk to them. However, our union president lost her cool and blew up everything. What a mess.

I see where thats true George. This group seems to have a nice mix of higher end guys to lower budget type. Ive come and gone from this board because of that super high end mentality. it drives me nuts. Ill spend depending on the year 1000-1500 on cards. that seems a weekly deal with some of these guys and they crap on anyone with a miniscule budget. I hate to see something done for enjoyment looked down upon when overall were in the same game... and knocking down an egotist really excites me. hard to do over the internet though

I thought you originally said somewhere around $3200, or am I wrong?

Still though, that's a lot of money for nothing.

Before i start my rant I want to say I dont have a problem with anything or anyone on the morning thread other than being ignored 80% of the time. big deal. that said ive ventured outside this thread to see what else is happening and gotten quite irritated at how some members have responded to subjects or others here. really? for example check out the ebay bucks thread. couple people rip the dude for what he bought. I wanted to fn go off but not worth i at this point unless some more is said. otherwise it was nice knowing you guys.. to look down your nose at someone or their collecting habits is pure bs
I started that thread down a negative path because of his second post. Begging for replies he got my honest opinion. I wouldn't have posted in the thread if he hadn't been rude to the whole board.

Yeah, the MT is the best place on the board. It's easy to not get ignored - but "passed over" in here, though, since a lot of guys go in and out all day long and may only scroll through to read up on things they are expecting responses to.

Post #2 was a bad idea.

Agreed about post #2. It's his PC and he is excited. He shouldn't have spoken that way about the prospects and prospectors. I just left it alone, I felt better doing that.

Anyone watching Cards/Marlins tonight?

I will be.

I'm listening to it, since I can't pick up a link for the broadcast that will play here.

I'm watching the game on ESPN. I gotta admit - one thing this park did right was have that glass wall that can open/close depending on the sun. Being able to see the Miami skyline in the backdrop of the outfield is badass.

The homerun monstrosity doesn't look THAT bad in nice rich-colored HD. I'm sure it looks like butt in person, though.

I would like to order a blue T shirt, size XXL, with this in white lettering. ;)
Since I can't post at work and have a very specific PC and only deal with prospects to flip for what I really want, I only lurk in other threads. I enjoy looking at the other MTer's collections because a few are damn near museum quality. I would guarantee you that no other group has a phone roster in case one of us doesn't post for an extended period of time. That's why I come back.

There's truly a phone roster for the folks of this thread?

Yes, many people have lots of MT phone numbers.
