Morning all! Going to be interesting around the office the next few days. One of our location managers put in his resignation. They offered the job to one of the office guys in my office. He was planning on putting in his notice to go work for a farmer. Now he doesn't know what to do.

LOGIC is if one manager is leaving think how many others are thinking about leaving . Think how long do you want to work there . I worked 50 years total of 6 jobs .All closed or sold out not long after I left except one = police dept . I worked FORTH shift and was put on second = quit after passed all computer training .

Sounds like the manager that's leaving was cheated on by his wife so he's moving to another state to get away.

Sounds like you have a promotion in your future!

One would be a demotion, the other would be more of a lateral move for me. Slightly higher pay, but nowhere near enough for the headaches that come with it. Location manager at the worst of all 3 facilities we operate, with the smallest job pool, with pretty much zero help for the scale at harvest time for both beans and peas. At least now, there's a few of us in the office for beans, and we don't mess with peas at the main office. Plus, I know the company software better than anybody else in the office lol
