The house I grew up in

Afternoon, all. Wow...the Royals suck worse than I thought a team could suck. I probably jinxed them when I put 300 for them to win over 72 games this season. As it looks, they may not reach 72 in TWO seasons combined!
Oh, and to make it worse, management and the sports radio clowns are boasting about how great a downtown stadium would be and saying it's going to happen whether fans like it or not.

I'm so done paying for stadiums for billionaires. When I'm only a thousandaire (is that a thing?). The citizens of the county pay for this and we get nothing in return except a crappy product. I'm going to be blunt and probably upset some of you. I don't know about other parts of the country but here the reason the vote keeps passing for upgrades and new stadiums is the lower income earners are bused and shuttled to the polls to vote for these stadiums and they pay very little toward the costs. I'm beyond my tax threshold and don't want to contribute to other people causes any longer. Rant over.

It's cost the city of Worcester Mass. about $157,000,000. So far to build the new stadium for the AAA Red Sox. The 2020 estimate was $99.4 million. Average number for fans per game is 5,600 in a stadium capacity of 9,508. Great ROI.
