nice pickup on the amarista, i put in a snipe of $48 but was outbid, they have been ending over $100 lately

Thanks! I know, i saw those prices and thought, shhhh%#$ I should've got one 2 weeks ago. i just sold a blue sunday for 34ish so the price on this gold was nicely offset by that sale.

This card had not shown up in 4 years until TWO of them popped up in one lot. Worked a deal with the seller and the buyer that one the lot for me to grab one of them. For a card /50, this was a toughie :)

Love vintage Donruss jersey cards that identify and picture the actual jersey used on the back. Even better that this was from a Berra rookie year jersey. He wore #35 his first season, then switched to the familiar #8. Won on eBay, $17.56. #30/35.

Donruss certainly got some mileage out of this particular Rookie Year jersey. It was used in at least 5 different products! They also had an away Rookie Year jersey too.
