Bought a BGS 9 with 9.5 sub and 10 auto and sold my psa 9

A card I have been trying to get for quite awhile. Bought it raw, and did a psa/dna quick opinion, then submitted for slabbing!
The grade was a nice surprise.

no way is that a 9.
the centering is 7.5 at best.
still an amazing card

That is a phenomenal buy. Had I seen that card I would of definitely bid on it. I had the same card and sold in 2004 for $320. GREAT pickup from a great set

Won another for my slabbed rookie autos....just a few more needed to complete the super stars from 1980 to 1996.
I am still looking for either a bowman or fleer update, but this will have to be the place holder until then...

Considering you are the only one who ever posts in this thread, can't you just stay to the pickup thread?

I am confident it will eventually catch on, and if not, I am fine with that too. Why does it bother you? It seems to make more sense to me, so that you have one thread to find, and the weekly ones go die off, never able to revisit. I like to revisit cards people have bought over time. A few have posted in here besides me, and if it eventually makes sense to more people, that want to revisit cards over time, great...otherwise I am happy to be the main poster here.

I probably overpaid, but i liked the size and quality of the patches. Anyone else pick up one of these with multi-color patches? Just curious how much past ones have gone for? I passed up many of the single color ones for under $100, looking for a multi-color one....
