Sick!! I'm shocked there aren't more collector's of him. I don't think I've ever seen a player collection unless I'm forgetting. Nice pickup Mike. Is it numbered?

Yea, I hear you about Randy. Not much fan love...he may be a turd at times, but you can't knock his numbers.

I was thinking more along the lines to see who agrees with your point of Johnson's stats "destroying" that of Maddux.
Its more the wording that you used that I have an interest in...

BTW - I think they are BOTH great, just dont see (in my opinion) numbers that destroy Maddux. Both are destined for the Hall. When I think of destroy, I think of someone with 300 wins, and someone with 50...thats just my opinion is all. I think it would be interesting to see what others consider to be "destroy worthy" :lol:

semantics...destroy is a relative term. It can mean just a smidgen better, but still enough to rise to the top. I wouldn't argue semantics...I would be happy to declare that Johnson has better stats and leave it at that.MojoDan said:

Johnson has a better win/Loss Ratio, and played on worse teams. The only reason Maddux has more wins is because he has more games. If Randy had more games than Maddux, he would have a lot more wins. Gloves...won't argue defense...just talking pitching, but even taking into consideration Maddux defense, Baseball reference.com HOF monitor STILL shows Randy with the "overall" better stats...take away Maddux's defense marks, and the margin would be even wider.
