Picked up another huge one for the set. After picking up the Jackson I didn't think I would be able to bid on this one, but I emailed the guy, and he okayed me paying in a couple of weeks. I think the last really big one I have is a Jeter. This gives give 20/33 players.

I was willing to go higher...it's the first live one I've seen, and the redemptions were getting almost $400

These arrived today from a Naxcom spree since the seller had a ton that I needed for my set. The Satchel Paige was the card that got me started.

GOTG.jpg

Satchel Paige
Boudreau with seam
Boudreau jersey year
Piazza x3 (He's featured on multipl card numbers in the set)
Vlad Guerrero
Early Wynn with seam
Strawberry
Carew
Fisk x3 Red Sox & White Sox
Catfish Hunter
Red Schoendeinst
Steve Carlton
Joe Morgan x2
Nomar
Reggie Jackson (jacket)
Billy Williams
Steve Garvey
Don Sutton

This gives me about 55/200 cards in the 2004 set, 26/150 in my 2003 set and 30/118 in the 2001 set. I'm interested in any commons you may be willing to trade for my set.

Thanks
Tom

Dont know if I've mentioned this, but that is by far my favorite GU set of all time! LOVE the pickups! I used to love busting that stuff! If I still collected anything other than my player collections you'd have some competition! Keep us updated on the set!

I am way behind on my scanning. I'll get around to it soon. Maybe I can add links to the sets I'm working on into my signature. I've got some great cards that I know people would enjoy but I could work on it for a week and still not finish.
