Liked the inscription, and I picked it up at a pretty good price.

Thanks, there's a 3rd jumbo Hershiser patch for sale, but the seller won't let go of it unless I pay 300% over what I paid for each of the first 2... ::facepalm::

Cool pickup, I was thinking of going after all those as well, but I'm having enough trouble doing my Lost autograph/memorabilia project. Its cost me enough money, I don't want to invest in anything else at this point. I'm curious which Mcfarlanes actually exist, you should get a picture up some time!

The autograph portion is going pretty well, I only need 13 of the 30 trading cards I want, and I'm done with the 8x10's and index cards that I wanted as well. And the 13 I need should be fairly cheap and easy enough to get. I'll PM you a picture back of my Lost stuff when I get a chance. The memorabilia part is the only thing I'm behind on, I'm only about a quarter of the way through that part.

I recently decided that if there was one card that perfectly captured my childhood card-collecting, that was most loaded with memories, it would be this card, which arrived today:

This card was a total fantasy when I was 10. They quickly reached $40 a piece (maybe as high as $60) and the wealthier kids at my summer camp were trading them as well as other singles from the set amongst one another. I sat back and hung out with my 1991 Donruss junk. 21 years later, I am the proud owner of one modern baseball cards' most important cards and not to mention, one of my collection's most important...in amazing condition.
