Weird Ebay item, would it work...

I guess it helps show the different angles of the Topps/3M Auto sticker, why would anybody want this? Would it work to show that my Albert Pujols Auto sticker was actually taken off a Erik Aybar Topps Auto?

I really don't get it either. Seems kind of like a cool novelty item though

I always had the feeling that Topps could have/should have/intended to do a lot more with the authentication stickers than they did. When they were introduced (01 I believe?), I assumed there would be some form of datebase or other resource that would link authentication numbers to certain cards or serial numbers. It's somewhat sad that the stickers ended up being more or less pointless.
