As of this morning, you can no longer opt out of the BS new eBay
search format, and I for one, am not too happy about it.
It's clunky, slow, and they haven't worked out all the kinks yet,
so I keep getting error messages on half my searches.

Thoughts?

I am not having any problems with it and actually once I got everything saved again, it works great.

Are you trying the FCB Search tool??????? That might be easier for you.

You do have to bookmark stuff. On the old page when the worthless 10% of people didnt pay you there was a link right on the page that said report an unpaid item. Well, it isnt there anymore and now you have to go to your my ebay page to find it. I hate how they dont list the high bidder either on the auction page. I would really think that ebay would have heard all the negs about this, but they still change it. And now I see paypal has changed too, even though it doesnt seem as bad, why fix what isnt broken ?

I hate the stupid crap actually.

for example....I see a BIN that someone bought......it doesn't say how long it lasted (1 second or 1 week) before it was sold and who it was sold to (without effort). Way to go feebay!

Was announced back in April that the new search would arrive early this month.

Also, I believe the new item page arrives around the 15th, though I could be wrong.

You are correct....

I knew it was coming, but that doesn't make me hate it any less

Question with BIN and the "new" eBay layout.

with the old layout, you could search BINs, and they were separated, "regular BIN listings" and then separated "eBay Store" BINs.

seems this new serach doesnt offer it that way, is this correct?

let me try to be clearer. i search for Jay Bruce a few times a day. there are 8 pages of "Jay Bruce" BINs
with the old and new layout, the "eBay Store" BINs started about 15% of the way down "page 2" of the 8 pages of BINs with the OLD layout, but dont seem to be there with the new layout.

any ideas?

The new search is horrible. I don't understand why eBay thinks they are improving their site by making their pages worse and forcing everyone to use them.

Is there a way to change/set your preferences from "Best Match" to "Time ending Soon"

I will always look for ending soon first...
