Nobody thought the "Rat" would win that fight - I started thinking something might be up when they kept showing Junk saying Im going to destroy this guy--you just never know.

Junk couldn't take a punch to start that fight. He was put on his ass twice in what, the first minute of the first round? And then both were totally gassed by the 4 minute mark. But you really can't expect much more than that from a bunch of inexperienced heavyweights. I hope they never do another heavyweight show.

i thought that was one of the worst fights i've seen. i'm not sure what Dana was seeing that was so great. the punches were sloppy. Junk was failing over, crawling on the mat, and leading in with his head down. Matt was throwing some of the worst haymakers and even a couple of slow motion back hands. They were amazed that these guys were taking the punches but there were only a few that had any power behind them. Only thing i couldn't figure was the scoring. i was ready for another horrible round and then was amazed at the 20-18 score that Peoples and another ref gave Matt. I figured Matt won the 1st and Junk won the 2nd. i could even see possibly a 10-8 for Matt in the 1st, but i don't see any way that Matt could have gotten a 10 spot in the 2nd round. The punches were about even, Matt was running away so Junk would be the aggressive one, and Junk got a takedown with a couple big ground punches. I hope that the next fight is much better than this one was.
