Now here's some fun questions....

What if the auto faded completely away? Would you see a problem with having it autographed again?

Or what if you could somehow clean off the old auto and have it re-signed?

Part of me wouldn't have a problem with any of the above because it would be a forgery...same guy still signing his card. You would need to make sure it was the same exact type of pen that Bowman used though or else I could see it as an issue.

Any thoughts on this?

If anybody does buy it and want it re-signed, I can get it done easily. Having another signing with Mike next month. Would just need the proper pen and payment for the signature.

So in less than 2 years the ink faded............... :?:

Absolutely....
A shop near me (now closed) used to keep all their auto cards in a showcase with flourescent lights on it.
The lights were on all the time to light up the showcase. The shop also had a ton of sunlight from the storefront.
He had a TON of faded autos including a Pujols Rookie! ::facepalm::

Honestly, if the seller would come down to a $100 or so...I would have no problem with getting rid of the original auto and getting it signed IP for the PC. However, there are plenty of shady people on the net who would do so and try to pass it off as original.

This is what happens when you use nail polish remover to clean chrome surfaces before sending to BGS.
