That is what I thought as well. The catch was very nice, but the speed at which he closed on the ball is what made this catch so great. I thought it was a sure double. If Ells does not win the Gold Glove this year, it will be an absolute joke.

I think he deserves beyond consideration. He is the best defensive CFer in baseball by a hefty margin IMO.
