I'm only so excited since I hadn't updated my copy in 5 years

I just barely got a 2010 copy myself after seeing this posted on the vintage boards. It's quite a book. Bigger than most phone books. The info in there is priceless.

So far its been disappointing

apparently a lot has change over the last five year with this hobby

Too many modern sets not listed

I hope the DVD has more in it then the book or I will be even more disappointed

The DVD should have all sets from 2001-2008.

I just got the 2010 version myself. I'll have to check the CD to see if it's been updated.

Now that Bob's back on board, the vintage section will be better than it has been in a long time...especially in 2011. I know he dabbles in a bit of the newer stuff as well.

I think it is good to have both the Standard Catalog and the Beckett Almanac. Beckett does a better job with modern stuff. The Standard Catalog has more vintage stuff.
