What a performance by Justin Verlander!!!

WOW! his last 3 starts have been great, I knew he just needed some time with Knapp and wow he looks like a totally different pitcher then last year!. He has that 06-07 swagger back.

His line tonite:

9.0 IP 2 H 0 ER 11 K's W 118 Pitches

Granderson also saved him in the 9th... he was getting tired out there for sure.

Just thought I would share he looks awesome right now.

Verlander's overall pitching this year has been far better than his current numbers indicate. He has had three games that he gave up a lot of runs. But all of those games he gave up big innings that were prolonged by bad defense. I expect big things from him this year.
