My brother and I took a quick trip to Pittsburgh to catch the Saturday and Sunday games. We stayed at the Renaissance and that is a BEAUTIFUL hotel and easy to find. I don't think I'll ever stay anywhere else...
The Pirates won both of the games we were at which improved my record to 6-0.
We were also both on the FSD broadcast for about 10 seconds before the start of the 7th inning as the Tigers announcers advertised the Tigers gear of the people who were sitting right next to us.
Sunday was the Turn Back the Clock game which celebrated the 100th year anniversary of the 1909 World Series between the Tigers and Pirates. After the gates opened every Pirate was in the concourse with the exception of Ross Ohlendorf who was starting. I met Andrew McCutchen and then got my picture taken with my favorite current Bucco!
What a weekend!!!
