The seller took the /5 bat barrel version and forged Jeter's name to it. (Wayyyyy off by the way)

Here is my copy of the regular bat barrel numbered to 5.

Here is what the auto version is suppose to look like /99 (Notice the picture difference and it does not say AUTO on his).

Stay away from this auction and seller.

I'd report it to eBay with a pic of the card that says "Auto" under the bat barrel.

The Aaron/Mays and Pujols "buybacks" are pretty brazen too. Don't UD or Topps monitor crap like this? They obviously have records regarding which cards have been produced. If each company would create an ombudsman/liaison position to monitor and communicate with collectors and set up a hotline with ebay, this stuff would be easily nipped in the bud. I know - buyer beware - but it seems to me that garbage like this creates an adverse impression of these companies' products, reputation and name. Even though there's no direct financial implications of this kind of fraud (the product is already sold), it seems like creating a perception of integrity and trustworthiness in their products would be in their business interests. Apparently not....

This stuff makes me sick. I reported over 20 of his bogus auctions (fake RC Premiere autos, fake originals, big Pujols fake, fake patches in SPA). I wish eBay would do something about this scum, but he brings them $$$$ so they don't care.
