I was thinking this might deter some bidders. Not just for the guidelines but the 3 days for payment. Also, the pictures you have for the items are a bit dark, so you can't really see the card well.

My scanner isn't the best in the world. For some reason I couldn't get my Orange Moustakas to scan well at all.

Must have gotten in a hurry on that. I usually copy and paste the descriptions and edit out the names/set.

Personally, none of that would deter me. I would be cautious with that Heyward since it had the wrong name in the description. I'd just ask to confirm, even though it's kind of a no brainer which card you'd be bidding on.

Recent Sales:

Gold 7/22 - $202
Gold 7/31 - $156
Orange 8/1 - $125
Gold 8/2 - $164

I wouldn't really call it a performance issue. I would call it the equivalent of me dropping the soap and big bubba was already waiting for me ::facepalm::

Golds of Moustakas usually sell right alongside the Oranges for some reason. I have no idea if that is universal with a lot of guys, but it's not shocking to me that they didn't draw as much. The scan of the Moustakas, at first glance, makes it look like there are chipping issues on the bottom of the card unless you actually go into the auction to view it.

I am just curious how you think you can enforce the 3 day rules since eBay allows the buyer 7 days to pay. I am not cutting on you, just never had the chance to ask anyone that had something set up like this.

The black background killed the scan. Those orange and gold refractors usually stand out when viewing auction thumbnails. Your card also appeared to be more OC versus a couple of the other cards I looked at. Your card ended on a Saturday evening which I've always felt is the worst day to end an item. Your terms are reasonable aside from the bold. Who wants to waste time bidding on a card that may or may not be available? Make up your mind; the card is up for bids or it is not. The three day payment could also deter a few buyers. I'm sure there are plenty of buyers like me who will quickly sell some stuff for a planned purchase. The three day window makes this more difficult. It appears you had a seven day auction. It seems the longer the auction the more the item gets "forgotten". I limit usage of seven day auctions to unusual items or those where buyers are limited. You may have done better with a five day auction which would have ended on Thursday which has usually been a good day for me. If you really wanted the seven day and had to list on Saturday you could have paid an extra dime and have the auction start in the future (like Sunday which tends to be better for my hammers).

As far as the heyward (which i won :D sorry :| ) I think yours was the last to end. You got to figure there is only a certain number of buyers for any particular card on any particular night, no matter how hot they are. I only jumped in when i saw it around $41 with a minute left, didnt think id win it, your description and requirements didnt deter me at all. I like to try to be one of the first or second to end on a sunday night. Actually. i wonder if it would be better to be the only person who ends on thursday rather than one of five or six people who end on sunday.

Maybe a lot of heavy hitters were still traveling from the National, and didn't get to put snipes in? Just throwing out an idea, I have no clue. I had nothing end last night, so I can't say from my POV.

That's interesting because I thought I did pretty well with the stuff I was selling. Funny how things differ for people when selling on eBay.
