That is a very cool!
Just hope the new owner isnt a stupid slab freak and go and ruin this 1 of a kind piece by chopping it all up....
Its obviously authentic, duh ;)


PS. the seller should have said how many total sigs are in the book, but I guess someone could estimate it.

Yeah I wish I knew the number of signatures in there as well. 9000 does seem pricey but if you start getting a bunch of guys in the 100+ range they all add up pretty quick.

This piece has an autograph from each player in the 1967 season that played in the National League except for the Chicago Cubs. In there are included Hank Aaron, Phil Neikro, Willie Stargell, Bill Mazeroski, Roberto Clemente, Joe Morgan, Eddie Mathews, Nellie Fox, Nolan Ryan, Yogi Berra, Ralph Kiner, Don Drysdale, Don Sutton, Willie McCovey, Willie Mays, Gaylord Perry, Johnny Bench, Tony Perez, Pete Rose, Steve Carlton, Bob Gibson, Roger Maris, Lou Brock, Red Schoendienst on the 1968 Braves page Satchel Paige, 1976 San Diego Padres Page Dave Winfield, 1976 St Louis Page has Jack Buck, 1976 Dodgers Tom Lasorda, Steve Garvey, Vince Scully.

This item comes from the collection of Ron Zera, he was the visiting clubhouse for the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Wrigley Field from 1967-1982. During this time the Bears still played their home games at Wrigley Field up until 1970. Also worked for the Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training Faculty from 1969-1973.

Hard to believe he only got $2,500 for it. Might have done better with an auction house.
