What an invitation - Free booze, steak dinner & Mark Grace!

Sometimes I just have the best luck.

This guy contacts me and says if I promote his school's fundraiser on my Mark Grace website, he'll give me a VIP ticket to the event.

I guess from what I've read on the internet, "sports stags" have a long tradition in Cincinnati. Guys-only night out with famous athletes telling stories over dinner and drinks. Sounds like a winning combination to me! Can't wait to hear some of Gracie's best stories in this environment. Looks like a roadtrip to Cleveland in Jan. for me (hope the weather cooperates!).

Here are the details of the event. Tickets just went on sale. If anyone here lives near Cincinnati, sounds like a great night! Anyone here ever been to one of these?

Do you ever say anything remotely positive? I could have understood if you reminded him that his page wasn't updated yet after saying congrats on the nice situation he has been offered. But to just say the page isn't updated, what a tool!

That's great, a lot of the high schools around here (Cincinnati) have "sports stags". I know Griffey has done a couple as well as Pete Rose over the years. I have personally never atteneded one but the people that I have talked to have said it is an absolutely great evening of story telling and jokes. I hope it is everything you want it to be as I'm sure it will be. Enjoy and Congrats!

buck round trip and it will only take about an hour

See if Rockford flies there I know Rockford goes to Vegas on the cheap
since you live closer to Rockford the O'hare and Midway this maybe an option to look in to.

I have been to a few things like this and they are a blast, especially if he comes to your table and talks with you. I went to one for Hank Aaron, Jake Peavy and a few with New Orleans Saints players. You will have a great time. dont get too tanked!!!!
