1982 Fleer John Littlefield (reversed negative)
1982 Topps Pascual Perez (no position)
1981 Fleer Graig Nettles (spelled Craig on back)

These were the first that came to mind. I actually pulled a Pascual Perez and sold it for $40 back in the day.

1958 Topps Pancho Herrera - the tough to find variation/error is the "a" missing in the last name on the front of card

2002 Topps Albert Pujols with corrected photo on back, if it actually exists.

The first money card I ever recall having was the '89 Score Ryne Sandberg 3B/SS variation.

What about 81 Fleer "Fernand Valenzuela" They forgot the "O"

Not only was it his rookie, but an Error as well. I remember back in 81, those were selling for enough to buy
another Box of cards.......Ahh the good old days, when a Box was $10.....LOL

There are 2 different types of "error cards"
The Man Made Error, and the Print Defect Error

Man Made would be misspelled words or card design mistakes that are later corrected
ie.
1969 Topps Nettles extra loop
1979 Topps Bump Wills Blue Jays
1987 Donruss Barry Bonds w/ Johnny Ray pic
1909 T206 Sherry "Magie" (Magee)
1938 Goudey Ernie Lombardi Red Sox/"Black Ball coverup"
1969 and 1958 Topps Yellow/White name variations
etc.
The many reversed negative cards fall in this group too, but cards like the 1957 Topps Aaron and many 1920s "W" cards were never corrected so there is no premium. Same with errors that werent corrected ie 1975 Hostess Twinkies Milt May w/ Lee May pic, etc.

Print Defect Errors are caused by the printing of the card and not by a person designing the card. Often are missing a color ink, or missing part of design because of a dirty printing plate
ie.
1909 T206 cards (hundreds) with missing ink (colors)
1990 Topps Frank Thomas missing black ink (no name)
1958 Topps Herrer (missing portions or all of the "a" at end) (dirty plate)
1909 T206 "Nodgrass" (Snodgrass) (dirty plate)
etc.
Blank back and blank front and miscut cards are slightly different because they are "one offs", and didnt need to be corrected.

Traditionally the Man Made Errors hold far more value than the Print Defect Errors.

1990. Those used to hit $25-30 or more back in the day. I used to have 3-4, now down to just one.

You're right, my bad. Should've remembered that one.

My favorite error in the 1964 Topps set with the Phillies Rookie card which says on the back:

This 19-year old righthander is only 18 years old"
