Lately I've started keeping a list of collecting ideas that come to me. That is, sets or collections I would like to put together but probably never will for whatever reason. So on my constantly growing list now is:

2012 Topps Archives gold foil complete set
2011 Topps Diamond Sparkle complete set
Every regular Topps set as far back as possible
1951 Bowman complete set
Every regular Bowman set (vintage and modern)

So does anyone else have any
dream collections?

Relic cards (within my collecting budget) that feature a relic that I don't have one of in my PC. Not very many items that I don't have at least one relic card of, but I should go hit the checklists for a lot of the stuff early 2000's that probably feature relic items that were not used much.

Interesting topic
A lot of things run through my head all the time
1: jumbo patch collection. Stars/hof/scrubs

2: perfect game pitchers auto collection
3: late 40's early 50's complete set
4: to many to list auto sets I'd love to put together
5: get back into player collecting felix hernandez and griffey (griffey is cost prohibitive as of late)

Eventually going to get back to it but a collection of those players that served in the military at some point.

I had gotten a spreadsheet from the HOF that broke it out for me, well beyond what I was expecting, but lost it when the computer it was on died. Going to have to ask for that info again from them and get started.

I do quite often. I want to get more into vintage, but then I remember my overriding goal of short-term profit and go back to that. One day when I'm comfortable financially I will take that plunge. I think it's important to remember your original goals and not recreate things too much. But that's just me.

Custom autographed Seinfeld Signatures set featuring Yankee players on the show...I designed mock ups, but wasn't completely happy with the design.

I've always wanted to work on a '54 high grade set, it's my Favorite vintage set, but my income level is wayyyyy too low.

Also thought about a '82 Topps football or '89 Score football high-grade set and they would be alot more reasonable price-wise.
