What are your thoughts on 09/10 Topps?

I busted some retail today and of course didn't expect to pull anything, but I do have 3 jumbo boxes coming this week. I was thinking that the chromes are actually pretty hard to obtain so was thinking of pooling my money up and going after the chrome RC set along with the chrome refractor RC set. I was lucky enough to purchase a Brandon Jennings refractor for $20 so I at least have one of the most expensive RC refractors already.

My question is and correct me if I am wrong, because Panani has taken over the Basketball card industry, this may be Topps licensed products for which is probably why they included chrome in the Topps set. Do you see any long term value for the chrome cards? Mainly because of how hard they are to pull?

It's been a few years since I dabbled in any Basketball product so I was curious on the market value of chromes over the last several years especially this year.

If anyone has any insight I would be very appreciative to hear it.

Personally I did not realy like the look of the rookie cards - with the action shots in airbushed plain jersey's.
That being said - I do agree that the limited chrome parallels is cool and from what I had seen the secondary market seems to be pretty good for those. And I love the chase card they added like the laundry tags, logos, etc. Those are some great ards if you're lucky enough to pull them. If i had not been out of work and broke I probably would have taken a shot on a couple jumbo boxes too.

Thanks for the feedback and I also agree with you about the airbrushed jerseys on the RC's. There are some pretty damn sweet cards in this product, however I believe I have come to the realization that the refractor set may be a little bit above me at this point.
