What case would you buy?

I know everyone hates this type of question, but here goes.

Have a large refund coming from taxes and want to buy a case with part of it.

criteria for case
1)Upper Deck
2)baseball
3)something that is readily available
4)under $1000
5)limited redemptions

2009 UD Signature Stars, 20 box case for around $895 shipped from Blowout. 2 auto, 2 gu per box, chances at harper, machado, bauer, cole usa autos, not to mention star autos like griffey, jeter, etc. not sure about redemptions still in this product, but at that price, it's hard to pass up.

1) Rip tons of packs
2) Sell me any Exquisites you find
3) Enjoy the other 99.99997% of the cards

I had a perfect case until I got to the under $1000 part.

2011 Goodwin Champions.... runs about $1200

But you can pull one of these [ebay:1jkpxcc6]130628510868[/ebay:1jkpxcc6] And the redemptions dont expire til 2013..... and you can pull bug redemptions too.

Not really a bad idea. At D&As price they are a steal.

Sorting would be a nightmare! Cards will all stick together over the years and be hard to separate. The exquisite pulls could be awesome though!

I'd personally go with Absolute Memorabilia Update boxes or Prime Materials. Neither are upper deck, nor could you get a case for $1,000 (you'll probably not even be able to find a case for sale at anyprice!), but the break would be a blast and the cards are awesome!

If you had to stick to UD, I would agree that Goodwin is the way to go for a fun bust with cool card selection.
