Completing the white and black set of 2007 moments and Milestones for Andruw. 191 cards each numbered /150 and /29.

Very nice. That had to be mind numbing to chase down.

As a 10 year old I put together the 1998 Donruss Diamond Kings insert set by trading with friends, shop owners, and show dealers. Still the best looking set I've ever seen.

The story about finding the Anson is killer. If any of you guys haven't heard it yet do yourself a favor and check out his website.

Reaching 700 pack pulled certified auto's of JJ. The next 700 won't be as easy ...

It's freaking scary that he even has that many. Damn! And I thought I was doing good with my 24 bagwells. Although I will say I'm pretty choosey with what I buy since they cost so damn much now.

Currently at 318 of 388 tickets to games that Andruw Jones hit a HR. 82%

I may never get to 100%, but I am happy to have gotten this close. Anyone that collects older tickets realizes how difficult of a project this is.

I'm glad he doesn't have that many total single auto's, lol. I have a ton of dupes and so on though, but I figure 700 pack pulled certified auto's of one player, no matter the player, is pretty decent.

I "discovered" this set... http://www.vintagecardprices.com/se...nkydink-Stamps-Baseball-Card-Value-Prices.htm

These were small newsprint "stamps" apparently from Sunday comics; I did an Ebay search on unusual baseball or odd baseball or unidentified baseball about 10 years ago, and ended up buying a book from the 1920's with a bunch of these and comic charactor stamps glued into the front cover. They all looked horrible from yellowing of the glue or paste used to put them in the book. I cut the book up and tried soaking them in water, and the stamps came out looking pristine. (I posted all of this on the old Beckett site) I had two Bucky Harris stamps, and one of each of the others listed in this set. I gave one of the Harris stamps to someone on Beckett, and listed the others on eBay. Can't remember how much I got for them, but when I just searched and found these I would have paid quite a bit to get them back... lol.
Bob Lemke wrote and said he would like to include them in Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards; he had seem some Rinky Dinks before, but never this many... I still believe that they are extremely rare, especially since Rinky Dinks is printed on the face of the stamp... So I'm kinda proud of "sorta" discovering these... at least some of them.

Just found these!!!

Completing my 500 Home Run Club game-used card collection. A few of the better players came as gifts from other collectors (Ruth, Mantle, Ott).

My greatest accomplishment is almost complete.
Finishing the 1958 Topps set, my Dad's favorite set as a child. He gets so excited looking through the pages of my binder, and memories rush back to him of buying penny packs at the candy store on Long Island and trading with friends. He tells me stories of his favorite Yankees like Gil McDougald and Bobby Richardson, and other teams' players he admired like Al Kaline and Rocky Colavito.
His second favorite set was a tie between 1959 and 1960 Topps, so I may start one of those next.

I posted earlier in this thread about my sons... hopefully they will do this for me one day. Coolest thing about me telling them stories now is that I can show them most of the stuff (i.e. Ozzies diving barehand grab) on youtube!! GL w/ future sets.
