These 13 players are the only pitchers to do this in a game for the last 30 seasons (1981-2010). What was it?

Dennis Eckersley
Jim Gott
Roy Halladay
Teddy Higuera
Bruce Hurst
Mike Lacoss
Terry Leach (who else remembers how bloody this guy's knee was every time he pitched?)
Greg Maddux
Jack Morris
Mark Mulder
Dan Schatzeder
Dave Stewart
John Tudor

Not 4ks in an inning, otherwise Chuck Finley would be on there (3 times), and Felix Hernandez (the most recent).

(in best Cliff Claven voice) "Who are 13 people who have never been in my kitchen......alex, you can't PROVE that they ever have been. Im right!"

I am guessing no ground outs in a game.

No.

And I'm pretty sure Teddy Higuera was in your kitchen at some point.

Morris is also the only person to do it in postseason play any time recently (ever?). Game 7 of the 1991 WS v. Braves.

http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes ... 0270.shtml

Dave McNally threw an 11 inning shutout in the first ALCS in 1969. He is the last since Morris.

The only other players to throw an extra inning shutout in the postseason were in World Series games:
Clem Labine in 1956 for the Brooklyn Dodgers against the Yankees.
Christy Mathewson in 1913 for the New York Giants against the Philadelphia Athletics.
