Hello

I just purchased your card and payed immediately using paypal. I ask that you not use the paypal shipping method and hand write your package and affix delivery confirmation to the package. You charge 2.49 for the card so this is more than enough to cover the cost.

If you use the words sportscards, cards, sports, baseball, memorabilia, collectibles, or tradingcards in the return address or anywhere on the package I will leave negative feedback no matter how fast the card gets here or the condition.

I have had a few packages stolen recently through the mail and I suspect it's a postal worker so DO NOT use any of those words, or print through paypal (the eBay insignia will be on the label) or I WILL leave negative feedback.

Hand written package with delivery confirmation will be enough to ensure I receive this card.

Thank you for understanding.

xxxxx

I have no problem doing this but

Definately odd - but sounds like his friendly postal worker may be stealing packages... or he's running some kind of scam??

dang that sucks. if he's buying low dollar stuff I'd meet his demands and then block him. if he's laying down some serious cash, i'd meet those demands every time.

I understand where he's coming from if he's really getting cards stolen, but to make demands after winning, and to threaten negative feedback is over the line. It's not your fault his post office/postal worker is stealing from him. He should take that up with them.

A simple request that you somehow conceal the contents because he is having trouble getting cards would have been sufficient.

The threat of neg feedback is definitely overkill. Why is he going to give YOU negative feedback because he knows SOMEONE ELSE is stealing the cards???

I'd personally cancel the transaction and forward the feedback threat to ebay. He should fix his mail problems on his own before buying anymore.

I guess a postal worker through the local system could been doing this....

Can't see where the scam is. With DC, it's being shown as delivered and that's all he's really looking for.

I'm wondering if its for the potl carrier or the lil' woman...

Either way, just add DC at the post office and you'll be fine.

I would send him a message back asking why he didn't ask this question before he won the auction.

This

and then report him to ebay. I don't think they would allow that.

I would make this a one and done. Meet this "demands" and send this one out...Its not like his demands are really out of line, but I would block him after this. People that make up rules without consulting the seller prior to bidding will tend to be nothing but trouble.

I would have a huge problem with this and agree I need to know this before the auction - I mail out 120 orders a month (not through ebay/paypal). I use stamps.com - I could not afford the time to affix DC at the PO for all of these.

$2.49 covers the postage cost - but my time is wiorth a lot more than that - it does not cover time spent wasting in line at the PO.

The whole do things my way or get a negative is crazy.

Bingo!

I don't deal with customers who want me to jump through hoops or want to tell me how to run MY ebay business. And as soons as someone tells me "do it my way or else" I'm done with them.

Well he never said you couldnt write on the package exactly what is inside.

Example: 2010 Topps Chrome Jason Heyward Auto

Doesnt include any of the words he said not to include.

Doesn't necessarily have to be his local one.
There are alot of problems right now at the Jaimaca, NY facility.
There's a dirty POS there I'd love to go postal on!!
