I like side A better...gets proven talent.

MJD is starting to fade (in hobby $ terms), Slayton and Johnson show promise but nothing proven like Brady and even Ryan although it may even be too early to tell with him. In 3 years B may make out better but at this point I would take A.

Side B... EASY.

Besides the Matt Ryan, side A is just random game used auto cards, which will continue to be created year after year, even after those players die. Side B has rookies from the best rookie product on the market. If even one of those players goes on to have a great career, that card will dwarft anything side A had received.

I would take side A if the Brady wasnt out of Triple Threads. I think that set is one of the worst produced every year, so, so awful. Even though it is numbered out of 9, there are probably 1000 different parallels, and the card will get harder to sell as people start to see the continuing horror show that is Topps High End. I would take Side B, sell all the cards, and buy better versions of all the cards in side A.

Really, the Rice is the only card in that deal worth getting.

I tend to agree. I think a lot of it depends on what you are going to do with the cards. Side B has WAY more potential for growth. MJD finally gets to be a feature back this year. and CJ and Slaton are two of the best young RBs in the league. With what Ryan did last year and the hype that surrounded him, I think its going to take a lot for his cards for his cards to make a significant jump again. The Rice and Brady aren't really from prestigious sets and its possible that with the way they mass produce autos they could actually decrease in value.

It's always very, VERY dangerous to trade a proven guy like Brady for any RB. Tomlinson is exhibit A of how quickly running backs go downhill.

It's a flippin' Triple Threads card, not like it's a rookie or something that won't have 100 other copies just like in 2009 triple threads. He'll have ample time for those Exquisites to grow and dump them over those RBs careers.

I strongly disagree with that statement. The Matt Ryan refractor /50 auto is a great card, he has more weapons than last year and a lot more experience. I like side A

But LT also had a run of about 8 years was arguable the most expensive non QB among active players. Of course there is risk but there is also a chance one of the those RBs has an incredible season and the Exquisites go from being a $150 card to being a $500 card. Also, these are all young guys so the chance they break down isn't that likely and Johnson and Slaton both were in the top 8 in the NFL in rushing next year so the chance of them being flash in the pan guys isn't as likely.

It would also really help if we new what the OP's purpose of making the trade was. If he is doing the trade in hopes of selling or if he is doing the trade for PC is probably a HUGE factor on what people say.

What do those 3 RBs have to do for their value to go up? MJD and Slaton are on mediocre teams, so it will be tough to get a lot of attention. Assuming it's the RC, the Johnson is really the only card there I like. Also, MJD is a guy I see disappearing in the blink of an eye. Not saying it will happen this year, but with his size, the hits he takes and the fact that he's now the feature back, I question the long term value.
