A convoy of Brinks trucks should suffice. As long as it covers Chris Carpenter's doctor bills after he gets hurt during the first inning of his first start of the season. We also need to be able to afford steroids for Pujols

I believe the Braves could extend Chipper Jone's career by 3 years if they just played him unto the 7th inning and then pulled him for Escobar. The Pirates did this with Willie Stargell and he played for another two productive years.

Tigers send Miguel Cabrera to Boston, Boston sends a package of prospects to San Diego, and San Diego send Heath Bell and Adrian Gonzalez to the Tigers. I would love that deal as a Tigers fan! Trade Trayvon Robinson, Andrew Lambo, and other prospects (outfield or relief pitching preferrably) to the Blue Jays for Roy Halladay but that will never happen because the whole Frank Mccourt/Jamie Mccourt divorce thing. We could trade George Sherrill to the Braves for Javier Vasquez. Point to what i want the dodgers to do is get a good SP. Or sign Lackey. Forgot about that one. ::facepalm::

2) Sign Lackey.
3) Trade for Uggla / Josh Johnson or Nolasco.
4) Figure out who's gonna play 2nd.
5) If option 2 or 3 doesn't happen, get some dependable starter by any means necessary.

Javy has a no trade clause to the NL/AL West. Plus it would take way more than Sherrill to get him.
