The Titans have great talent at numerous positions - running back, wide receiver, tight end, cornerback, defensive line, etc - but they cannot win.

The defense is playing horribly in regards to the passing game, and Kerry Collins has been subpar lately.

And they're not getting Chris Johnson the ball near enough.

I believe he's averaging over 6 yards per rush, and has a ton of receiving yards too.

This post reeks of bandwagonism. So, if you hopped on, feel free to hop off. If you are a true fan of the team and you give up that easy, good luck finding another team that won't break your precious little heart.

I agree with you guys, mortz and ffgameman, start Vince. I personally think he should have played this game, but I am not the coach ya know.

Oh well. Here's to hoping we can go 10-2 the final 13 weeks of the season and somehow sneal into the playoffs.

I've gave up on our chances of making the playoffs this year, but I wouldn't abandon the team.

The thread should be called "What is right in Tennessee". It would save alot of typing, as that would be a short list.

It's what I've thought all along (I posted about this last week, it actually may have been 2 weeks ago? :? ), the Titans are 1-dimensional due to thier lackluster and average at best QB & WR's! Vince Young is not the answer but at this point would be an upgrade over K.Collins. I saw this coming & thought it would occur last season, as the Titan's passing game doesn't not scare anyone & opposing defense's know that there is no real threat in forcing the Titans to pass the ball...Defense's know that if they stack the line or play to stop the run that the Titans will crumble, as they have Mr. Mediocrity throwing to a rag-tag bunch of NFL WR cast-off's! I have always liked the team unity that the Titans have always shown to have (they always were a team that really had no superstar's, they just played solid football & won games) but I believe the lack of a true leader on & off the field has squandered what talent the Titans do have! IMO the only way they will turn it around is starting V.Young & possibly playing out of the Wildcat (even though I'm truly sick of hearing the "hype" over this formation) as they need to play to thier strength's, which with the current QB's & group of WR's is NOT going to be through passing plays!
Just my opinion guy's... :D

Edit: I forgot to say that I think the Titans will definitely need to focus on getting a good QB in the offseason, as well as at least 1 good WR (I'm not talking about the under avg-to-avg WR's that they normally pull outta the crapper in hopes that they'll "polish a turd & find a gem" either!). :D

I actually think their receiving core is not that bad, definitely an upgrade from last year.

Britt can be a great receiver and the group of tight ends they have is pretty good.
