This Year:

Was he just a one-year wonder, or what?

Had an elbow injury develop towards the end of the season, opted to rehab it instead of surgically repairing it. He had two rehab starts (I believe) before being called up, so is essentially still in "Spring Training" in the sense of getting his mechanics and whatnot in line. The velocity still is not back to 2008 levels as of yet either, which has definitely hurt him up to this point (this year sitting between 90-93 whereas last year was sitting 95-97). The slider is coming around nicely though, so once the fastball velocity picks back up, he will be back to form.

Pretty much what jondawg said. He was scratched from his start on Tuesday due to elbow soreness, but the MRI came back as normal
