Ever have an item that you want for the PC or a rainbow, but the seller is either delusional or has no real intention of selling?

For me recently its a Megumi Fujii blue auto (mma fighter) that the seller wants $75 for. Its a $30 card on a good day.

2012 Bowman Platinum Purely Platinum Anthony Rendon auto #1/1. It's probably a $300 card and guy has it at $1700 BIN on eBay.

There's one out there. . . . it's not horribly overpriced, but in my opinion, it's overpriced. I don't want to mention it in case someone swoops it up. :)

There's two out there right now. First is a card I'd been looking for but when it surfaced I was very disappointed at the BIN/BO. The UD Epic four barrell card with Trammell, Whitaker, Yount, and Molitor has been on ebay for quite some time with a BIN/BO of $4K.

The other is from someone who was able to get all 5 of the Tigers bat knobs from Tier One (Cobb, Kaline, Cabrera, VMart, and Cecil Fielder). The seller has a ridiculous BIN/BO of $18K.

Sure, about 95% of the 1/1s and rarest BIN cards are overpriced... obviously - everyone here pretty much knows this. Sellers use BINs (and reserves) on these cards because they think/know they won't get the same amount of profit on a card if it were to go to regular auction.

Otherwise, the card below would be great to have but is $575 overpriced.

Mine was a Trent Dilfer 1998 E-X Essential Credentials/24 card that Burbank has had listed on the Beckett marketplace for the last 5+ years and ebay for the last year or so for prices ranging between $95 and $120. Consistently for the last 5 years it has been the only Dilfer card for sale on the internet that's on my wantlist, but I couldn't bring myself to pay that price. If they had it at BIN/BO I would have offered at least $60, which is still way too much but it drives me crazy that there's something sitting right there that I need, mocking me. There's only 2 hardcore Dilfer collectors currently active and I believe the other one has this card already, so if it came up for auction I doubt it would break $10-15.

Well, it was sitting on ebay. With Christmas coming up I put the card on my ebay wishlist. It sold a week ago and a bubble mailer from Burbank, CA just arrived the other day for my girlfriend. So for the holidays I get a card I need and the satisfaction of knowing there really is nothing I need for my collection that is for sale online.
