Today? Uggla. Mostly because I asked him if he'd ever taken any peds in 2005. "Nope. All natural hard work."
I'm taking his word. He needs to get that BA up though.

I tend to fall into this category, too. Sports athletes are not heroes or role models to me or my kids. I like to watch the best compete, and I root for the team, and I'm a fan of some players, but break my heart--I'm not that emotionally connected to that stuff. Plus, I agree that it's so prevalent (or was) that why would we be surprised at any name anymore--yes, even Griffey or Jeter.

Of today's era (and last twenty years), I don't even care anymore who used what. It's just too many guys at this point, too much heartbreak, too many cheaters. I'm glad to see the inflated numbers have done away.

The inflated PLAYERS are gone too for the most part. Those that remain seem to have a leak now.
