I have some questions about products. I am going to a card show tomorrow, and I only have about 100 dollars to spend. What would be the best to buy?
I realy have no idea what to buy. Can I get suggestions...
Also would it be better to...
Buy 1 box?
Buy packs from multiple boxes?

New products. Hopefully one that you are going to have a decent chance of getting a auto or game used.
Stars, Prospects, or hofs.

Why not just buy $100 worth of nice autos?

- Buy a $100 box, you might get 1 or 2

- Or...you could buy several autos/patches of players you like for the same $100

+1

You don't know much about the products out. Save your money and spend it on some nice autographed cards of your choosing. Don't bust wax. You can do nice things with 100$ to spend on autographed cards of your choice.

I don't collect anything certain. I really like opening wax. I want wax...
I am also feeling lucky. I rather have a thrill and a chance of pulling something sick then just getting some autos that I bought.
I think I have a chance to pull something nice, but just incase I don't I want the best product to get my money's worth.
Last time I was at a card show I pulled a Stafford Signed Patch for like 50 dollars worth of prestige packs plus harrel, jackson auto and gameused.
This time I want baseball though.

i can think of 100 better ways to spend 100 dollars. Buying wax = kick in the pants at least 70% of the time.

you can try 2008 ultimate collection pack. just like football and hockey (well, hockey gets 3 hits) but it's a quick break and it is a really decent product imo

not sure how much it went up but if the price is close, how about 2009 razor sports icon pack? again, one pack with one slabbed hit and def. hit or (mainly) miss but there are some great pulls there

Everyone says that you should just buy singles, but there comes a time where singles just don't do much for you, and that's where I am right now.

Crack some wax, have some fun.

Probably so, but who cares.

This hobby wasn't created to gain/lose money. It was made to have fun, and there's nothing better than cracking a box with the monetary aspect clear from your mind.

That's the key right there. Too many ppl buy wax expecting to get their $$ back.

That's their frame of mind, and they probably should get better return. But wax is always a gamble.

However, if the companies continue to do what their doing, the % of wax being busted will continue to drop off. It's really a shame, but some boxes really shouldn't be as expensive as they are. They are a few nice finds though if you look.
