Curious what products you wish were still around?

I would have to say Reflections is my fave blast from the past. The first dual-autos that I actually ever had interest in! The Crawford/Rios redemption is still one of my faves of all times...just a good lookin' product!

Some kind of set with Precious Metals from Donruss Preferred. Always liked those cards.

And Stadium Club or Ultra. They usually had great photography, and often very sharp designs. Next year is the 20th anniversary of the debut of both sets (oy vey!) and I'd love to see Topps come back with a 'retro' set of the 1991 design for TSC, and maybe they could buy the Ultra name from UD for a box of donuts or something.

I'm with that. i would love to see special-series inserts that were low-numbered and looked great.

I'd love to see these cards come back as inserts to existing products but not in or part of products that no longer exist. IMO there are too many products out there.

My dream modern issue would be a combination of past Topps set ideas:

A Topps base with the pre-1992 card stock, the old 1971-1991 kind.

-Multi-series, not just 1, 2 (and U&H), but 1st,2nd,3rd...4th maybe? Using the 'living set' concept.
-4-in-1 Prospect subset.
-Future Stars and/or Coming Attractions subset.
-Draft Pick subset.
-1 one-per-box parallel set (like 1992 Topps Gold or 1993 Stadium 1st day Production).
-Sweepstakes/Scratch-off game card in every pack. Depicting different players/stats. Redeemable for prizes.
-Buy back autos of stars from past Topps issues - not just vintage and modern but all the 80's fan-favorite types too.
-Embossed or stamped buy back cards.
-SP partial parallel featuring a broader range of retired stars. Not just Ripken, Ruth, Ryan, Mantle etc. More "semi" guys.

How can you possibly still think this when Topps is all thats left?

Topps would be producing cards that looked like the inserts & parallels we're talking about. I wouldn't mind DLP coming back as long as the number of sets available didn't change.

Finally something we can agree on.
