What teams scare you for your favorite team in the playoffs?

I think from top to bottom the only team that scares me for the St. Louis Cardinals are the Philadephia Phillies.

What about you guys? Who would you rather NOT have your favorite team face in the playoffs?

For a Yankees fan, it has to be the Angels, REGARDLESS of who is on the team. They can bring up their AAA team and sweep the Yanks. We never seem to be able to beat the LAA

The team that scares me most for the Red Sox is the Red Sox. Not that I don't respect how good the rest of the AL is, but if the Sox play their best, I'm sure they can beat anyone. It's just a matter of whether or not they show up, sadly.

If the Giants win the Wild Card spot in the NL, I can see them upsetting someone with Lincecum and Cain possibly getting two starts each in a short series.

Every AL playoff team hopes and prays that the sox keep throwing penny/smoltz. Both are horrendous. Yes the lineup is good, but having to score 6+ when those guys go is not always going to happen.

Yeah because the Cards sure show how weak they were against the team with best record in baseball last week.

Rays fan. Red Sox don't scare me. If we make the playoffs it means our starting pitchers got going, and if our SP are on, they are just as good as Boston's. I'd say the Yankees scare me the most, and we always seem to have trouble against the White Sox (last year's ALDS not included). I still think the Angels are an overrated team like last year, and are a product of the division. I honestly think they would finish 4th in the AL East.
