UD-1990 Reggie Heroes was the first

then fleer came out with their player specific sets like Eckersley, Clemens, Gwynn, Glavine, etc. They had autod cards and the first set came out in 91 but I cant remember which was first.

not sure on topps but I thought they had a 1992 Brien Taylor auto that was a pack pull but it could have been a redemption or mail in or something.

Taylor was in the Topps Gold factory sets I believe.

1990 Upper Deck Heroes Reggie Jackson, followed by 1991 Donruss Elite Signature Series. And yes, the 1992 Topps Gold Brien Taylor was found only in factory set form.

91 UD also had Aaron & Nolan autos just like the Jackson, all #'d to 2500.

I actually got a ball signed by Brien Taylor in 91-92. All time bust!
