The Dual Materials /10 had BV of $80 back then and I think there was 20 bids and I ended up winning for $80.
The Veteran material had a BV of $60. I won it for $35.

More reason I thought the Dual /10 would fetch more is I have two more of them which means there should only be 7 more out there. All the hardcore Ripken collectors already have one?

Ouch.I guess even hard core collectors have their limit.

gotta post them during baseball season #1 , always end on a friday night.. payday buyers are hot friday night.. those two factors alone cost you 20% off the top.

LOL!. Yup, 11 positive and 2 negatives in the first 13 sales. Hahaha. Seriously though, the guy won them fair and square. The cards are packed and ready to get picked up by the USPS guy. I doubt he'll show up though It's 5:10 PM and come to think of it, it'a a holiday. I'll be dropping it off at the post office in the morning.

Couldn't you just create a new ID?Would think it happens a lot there.FYI, I sold a card right after World Series I thought Red Sox fans would be over, only sold for $1.Went ahead and sent it anyway.

I disagree with the suggestion to keep the cards -- they sold fair and square, like you said.

I think you got a fair price for them, but what everybody and their brother does trying to maximize sale prices on ebay is to list them for a high BIN with the BO option, field offers for a while. You could have possibly squozen another 10, 20, 30 bucks on them by waiting for the right offer.

I am a fan of auction style listing though, it makes ebay more fun, and you get paid more quickly than a 30 day BIN/BO. Just my $0.02
