....from this year's Super Bowl?

Will it be the "straw that broke the camel's back" with Tracy Porter's interception?

Or the big change in momentum via the surprise onside kick?

Lance Moore's improbable 2-point conversion?

the interception.

I think any Saints fan who says they were at all confident with a 7 pt. lead and Peyton moving the ball right downfield is lying. Not that Brees couldn't have led a game winning drive if they did tie it, but to me that was the play that "won" the game.

my 2 would probably be Brees - his mastery and accuracy, making it look easy at times, just taking what the defense allowed and moving his team down the field.

3 would be the onside kick. Huge play and maybe it really is the "biggest play" of the game....but I guess it falls a bit in my poll because a lot happened after that play to determine the game. Equally as big may actually be NO getting that FG before the half. Psychologically that may have been big to get points after the coming up empty at the GL.

I say Sean Payton playing to win the game rather then playing not to lose the game. Sean Payton's playcalling was the difference in this game.Caldwell probably didn't even notice he was on the sidelines until halftime. I took dumps last night that resembled a gameplan more than what Caldwell used last night.

Or Manning's poor play calling to end the 1st half. Played right into Sean Payton's decision to go for it on 4th down.

The onside kick, no doubt. Manning barely touched the ball in the second quarter, let alone meaningful snaps.

I think when manning gets the ball coming out of half-time, he marches down the field.

The lack of penalties BLEW my mind, more than anything.

There were some brutal holds on both sides of the ball, and it was clear that it was a 'let 'em play' situation. During that onside kick, people were getting stomped!

That game started to get really chippy.. and that favoured the Saints, hardcore. The Colts were completely thrown off their game by the physicality of it.

I'm soooo excited to watch the re-run of this game. I still think that the Colts had no business losing that game.

I fully agree with the above. The INT will be remembered because it was the moment in the Super Bowl that viewer's knew the Saints had won the game, but I think the L.Moore 2pt conversion was one of the most athletic play's that I've ever seen! That was just jaw-dropping how he was able to make the catch & twist/extend in that fashion & in that split second to make it break the plane of the goal-line! IMO that play was the "statement maker" that stole alot of the air out from the Colts sail's! I also think that the momentum changer was in fact the onside kick (the Colts were the dominant team up til that point).

Punxsutawney Polamalu will haunt my dreams forever...

I think the onside kick will be the thing I'll remember most about the actual game. It was such a stupid decision, but will be coated in gold because it worked. Great execution on it.

Nope. Stormed right off the field.

Meh, the field becomes a turd-show so quickly that I understand. Searching out Drew Brees and Sean Peyton just to appease the cameras is overrated.

I'm sure Manning found both of 'em later that night and congratulated 'em. Payton's "SUPERBOWL AND THE LEAGUE MVP..." for Brees was sorta funny, and I'm sure Manning loved hearing that.

Can't assume that. We only know what we see. He stormed off the field, head down, with no attempt to shake anyone's hand. Poor attitude and poor sport. Win or lose or take a second to congratulate the other QB at least. It's not required, but is expected.

For me it was simply the Saints domination of the final 3 quarters after Indy dominated the 1st. The other points are memorable as well, but the dominance is something I certainly didn't expect.

During a Brees interview late that night Drew stated Peyton called him and they spoke for a while once the players were done all the immediate media attention following the game. He said the two will be meeting up later this week in New Orleans as both are involved in activities surrounding Mardi Gras. Drew was very complimentary about Manning and their conversation. I'll dig up the link if you need it as I found it on a Saints message board linked to the news page.

Just because he didn't shake Brees hand right after the game, that in now way shape or form means he's a bad sport or that he has a poor attitude. The swarm of media that was on the field right after the game was ridiculous. If Manning doesn't have security (and he didn't) to help lead a path to Brees, he's not going to make it very far in the mass of people down there. Does anyone REALLY think that Manning wouldn't get in contact with Brees and Payton and congratulate them on their win???

The same bullshat was said about Sidney Crosby after last years Cup finals after the Pens beat the Red Wings. Crosby didn't shake the hand of Niklas Lidstrom, the Wings captain, because he was celebrating and was doing an interview. Things happen right after a championship is won (in any sport) that is sometimes outside of your control and there is always time to congrulate the other team at a later time, whether it's an hour or the next day.

Yea, more than any other single event, the field after the SB ends is a mob scene. You can't expect Peyton to find his way through all the media and random people on the field. Its good to hear that he got in touch with Brees after the game, although im sure it won't stop some people in the media from calling him a poor loser.

In terms of the most remembered moment, it has to be that Manning crumbled and wasn't able to pull it out. If you put the ball in Mannings hands needing a TD to tie or win, its not a big thing if he does it, because you expect it, but it becomes a stunner when he doesn't
