Can you imagine you are visiting this site tomorrow and come across a thread title that reads "Trout suspended 50 games for PEDs".

I was just looking at this 2009 Chrome Auto his picture, and how skinny he is in that picture and how BUILT he is now. Can you imagine what would happen to his card prices and the damage it would do to this hobby. Is this even remotely possible?

I would laugh. Chalk it up to just another guy trying to get away with it. Be glad I didn't have any of his cards and even happier that I didn't over pay for him in a fantasy baseball trade.

Trout was only a 17 or 18 year old kid in that picture. Of course he was slightly smaller. And he was never thin. All the reports say he was a beast in high school.
Also, as many busted players have proven, not all forms of PEDs turn you into a hulking monster like Bonds or Sosa.

He'd get off on a technicality like Ryan Braun and while he'd have that PED blemish, it's not going to matter one bit if he keeps on playing like a superstar.

Basically the outrage would be muted and he'd be in no fear or being deported or lynched.
