That's a "custom card" cut autograph if I've ever seen one.

There are some hideous cuts out there that won't display well any other way.

The autograph looks decent, although the "J" is huge.

For perspective, I bought this ugly sheet for less than this auction in question sold for.

I cut the signature out and made a custom out of it and it looks great in my opinion.

I do have a Joe D, though. I picked it up a couple of years ago at a decent price ($70) and it was in a PSA slab, already.

I agree. The "J" is one of the worst examples I've seen, but at $50... can you pass up a Joe D.?

This is my $50 Mantle that I couldn't pass up. It's 11 x 13 and came in a custom frame that is from a frame shop that had a dated label. It was done in the 80's and the label was put on the border of the frame's brown paper backing to prevent tampering -- meaning the pic had been in there since it was framed (the brown paper backing was way too fragile to tamper with).

Image is faded but the sharpee sig still looks great, and you can't beat a beer ad!

I think it's also a low price because they didn't put AUTOGRAPH in the title. Most people searching for a Joe D. auto are going to search "DiMaggio Auto*". You do that...that auction's not showing up.
